You know you don't really hear or see much of those lil HK P7's anymore now that I think of it...they where always dang accurate guns...I've seen some surplused and sold for (I wanna say like way under $700 wholesale?) a while back somewhere??...great shooting guns...never owned my own...or really wanted one for some reason...but they are really accurate great shooting pieces...a bud of mine that passed several years ago used to tote one...can't argue with how they shoot! just never really flipped my buy switch...but that's why they make 32 flavors I guess....just to be odd I'm gonna say those old Star 9mm's....because they made some good ones for way under $500 back in the day...though I don't think I'd buy one now...maybe the old smith single stack 9? That was a pretty good one...The K9 (and 40) from Kahr stands out as one of the few great ones from the last several years...though I like the plastic versions better if I was going to carry it. Sig had some single stack 9 and 40's that where good....but for the bulk you may as well had the double stack versions IMHO.

I really like my Kahrs PM9 and E9. The E9 is a discontinued model which was replaced by the CW9 (according to Kahr). It's a real honey. I also have to tip my hat to the HK P7. Even at 22 years of age, it's as good as brand new and I consider it as such.

I have to give kudos to my non-metal, CHEAP, and fully functional 709 Slim by Taurus. A truly great shooting and accurate, carryable pistol. If I were Andre the Giant and not deceased, I'd throw in my Sig x-5 for being small and beautiful.

I would between 3, the P228, P6 and the Springfield EMP. All fit my hand perfectly, and are comfortable to shoot. If i tossed capacity out of the picture the EMP would probably the best for me, mainly because it worked well with switching to a full size 1911 .45 for home defense.

CZ-75 Compact...hands down. Of course if you are not well padded (bodily, I mean), you might find it to be to bulky. Mine is steel frame w/o all that rail business, fixed sights, shoots more accurately than I can, handles like a dream, and with all the hotrod 9mm that's available; I think I'm well protected.

Kahr K9. I dont own one, but have spent some time behind one.

I've kinda been keeping my eyes peeled for a used one. It was a little higher on the list but got bumped down a few because I found a P9 to tide me over a while.

HK P7, SIG P239, S&W 3900 series are my favorites that I have owned and shot. I no longer own the Smith.

I would love the chance to shoot a Walther P5 Compact and be the judge :D

Without question, my CZ P-01... then my SIG P6/225...
Two extremely accurate and dependable pistolas... with hand-fit/ergos that simply can't be beat!!

Lots & lots of CZ fans!!!:) And for good reason. My 9mm compacts to choose from are limited, a CZ75B compact, CZ P01, Sig 239. The Sig carried the best, the P01 shot the best, and the CZ75B Compact was my favorite:D I dont care for decockers, or I'd have a PCR in a heartbeat!!!

One More for Bersa. I sold my old one and bought a new 9mm UC PRO. Polygonal Rifling, loaded chamber indicator and reliable & accurate out of the box for $339 + tax.
