2.you genuinely love the smell of gun powder.

3.you've considered moving because of gun laws.

7.you go to sites like gun broker just to see what's available.

8.you've made a wish list and did the math to see how much everything would cost.

9.you hate when people say "deagle" instead of desert eagle, or "shotty" instead of shotgun.

stop watching me!!!!

If you can't find enough space in your bathroom to stash a second shotgun.

If you think RX8's, 3.2TL's, 9-5Aero's are guns that you don't know about, somehow.

If you're watching TV and there are 5 handguns within reach, but you can't find your remote.

If you can clean a gun with your eyes closed, but get confused with a diaper.

If packing the car for a holiday trip home, resembles arming up a personnel carrier for an insertion into Fallujah.

Excellent, and thanks. Would enthusiasm be the right word?

Glad to know that I'm not alone, and that others might read about ammo and gun prices anytime they can reach a computer.
You watch a quick Youtube movie clip just to see a G-3 ('Heat', 'The Professional') type etc, or Anybody shooting propane tanks or water jugs.

Do many gun owners ever feel that over 5,000 or even 9,000 rds. of 7.62x39, x54R and .303 ammo might not be enough,
for long-term personal use?

But to be quite frank, if scalpers keep grabbing most of the large rifle primers to be found in this city (can't really learn to reload with none), this might not be enough...

you might be a gun nut...

if you can name off more gun companies/makes than movies you have seen
if you bought exercise grips to better your finger control
if you have posted on this thread
if you have more guns than family members
if you store a pistol in the tank of a toilet for 'just in case'
if you know ALL of the gunshops in your area by name and are close friends with the owners
if you cry when you drive by gun buy back programs
if you have been thrown out of a gun buy back program for buying guns
if your gun collection cost more than your house, car and college loans COMBINED

These probably have been posted before but I haven't read the whole thread either

I'll have you know it is an excel spreadsheet w/ formulas and the costs of different courses of action. And it is classified "Top Secret" from my wife..."need to know." She needs to know before I make each purchase above say $100...not the whole firearm acquisition campaign plan!

If you spent more money $$$

" tricking-out/pimping-out " your SKS rifle than you actually spent on buying the damn thing in the first place !

You know you are a gun nut if: You post hyperlinks for Gunbroker auctions in response to someone else's request for gun advice, and then repeatedly look up the post so you can click the link & salivate.

...when you already have some pretty nice shotguns, but for some reason you want to get an H&R single shot "just because".

...when you buy a gun you're not even looking for because you stumble on one and the price is ridiculously good -- and you actually know what the going price for the gun would be.

...when you sign up for a new kind of competition just for the experience and because you have a gun that will work okay, but after a couple of rounds of shooting you NEED a high-end specialized gun for that competition.

1. When the clerk at the ammo counter at ALL the Walmarts around you ...know you by name.

2. When you spend hours thinking of all the hiding places for your guns...because all of your gun safes are already full.

Ive stopped my 4x4 out on the trail when I see spent brass so I can get out and see what caliber people have been plinking with. Found some .460 last time.

if you're cleaning out a suitcase for the holiday trip, and you find an empty case.

...if you read this and you think winchester or remmington before you think of coors or miller

You sold your Remington 870 12 gage Pump shotgun

because you needed the extra money to buy that Berretta 3901 Auto 12 gage that is so damn sexy and all you have to do is pull the trigger instead of all that effort to actually pump !!
