So I had my Ed Brown Kobra sitting in the safe, and she didn't look out of the ordinary last time I saw her... no bulges anywhere, no signs of pregnancy.

Here's what she looked like not long ago:

So, I go into the safe this morning and low and behold, there was a little Kobra Carry laying next to my Kobra. You can tell they're related, they have the same grips and scales... a chip off the old block.

Here's the first baby pics!

Here's the important question... do you think my fiancee will buy this story?

LOL... well, it's only successful until the little lady figures out how the breeding is actually occurring... then I suspect she'll shut the program down on me. :D

Sweet find !

Very nice, love the scales ! :D

...Yet another one we can't get here in the PRM. It's gettin' so I can't stand liviin' in Massachuestts anymore... :(

Nice! :) Can you jack the slide w/o getting a hernia? They say that Ed Brown, Les Baer, Wilson Customs have tight action until a 1,000 rd break-in...What say you?

If it works for coathangers, why not 1911s?

Congratulations on the new addition.

And very pics as well.......on a serious note....I know you are being funny about the fiancee.......Just remember....it's your money you earned and spent....before and AFTER marriage.....do not get a joint checking account....you have be warned!!!!

Do it this way:

Get a joint account, and each of you keep your own accounts. Develop a budget in which you each get money to go to your accounts, once the needs of the household are taken care of. The rule is that she spends her money on whatever she wants, and you spend your money on whatever you want. Anything coming out of the joint acct must be approved by both.

My wife and I do this and never argue about money or spending. She buys shoes and purses, I buy guns and ammo.

Mike

PS NICE 1911s.

I have two Ed Browns and the both feel like they're on ball bearings when you rack the slide. Not hard at all, it's smooth as can be. They also run 100% right out of the bag (they don't come in boxes). If you pull the slide back on a Ed Brown, then pull the slide back on Kimber, standard Springfield, or even a Colt and you'll immediately know the difference in the fit -- and that the Ed Brown is light years ahead of the others.

Turn the tables...open the safe, look shocked..and accuse her of trying to sneak one in under the wire thinking that you......just.....(crossing arms)......would.....not.....notice. :)

Dude, that ain't a safe, IT'S AN INCUBATOR! Maybe if you adjust the humidity and temperature you can get it to give birth to a litter next time instead of just one...
Congrats on TWO friggin' pieces that I can be jealous of you over...

Jason

I need a safe like yours! :D Needless to say, I'm jealous

As long as your fiancee doesn't have your safe combo, your golden! ;)

Congrats Mr. Sturm. I don't even want to know what you were doing 9 months ago. :what::D

Now that's a fine lookin' piece of handgun.

edit: I just to their site and priced those.... you wanna adopt an electrician?

Nice.....

My honey gives me grief every now and again for what's sitting in the safe..

When she does I just remind her that if I **** the bed, all of that stuff is hers. Then I ask " what do you have for me?"

A hundred, or so, pairs of shoes is worth nothing to me...

This has always been the end of story.

Bob
