Your American Backyard Forum Up & Running

Hello everyone,

For those that don't remember me I founded Triton in 1994. For reasons I will not get into here, in July of 2002 I cut off my ties with Triton. Since then I have been working on a project that is nearing completion. It’s called Your American Backyard. Part of the website, the forum, is now up and running for testing. I would like to invite everyone over to see it. Please let me know what you think of it. If you decide to join, then thank you in advance! Soon the entire site will be live.

So what exactly is Your American Backyard? To quote our motto, “The Great Outdoors Begins Here!†We are a single source location for shopping for outdoor related products. While at our site you will also have many other features available to you. The forum is just one of them. Others include an auction house, resource information from across the country, articles, even weather and headline news. Our Gold Club will bring you even further discounts on our already low prices and special member features. Most importantly, you will become an integral part of the Your American Backyard (AmBack for short) extended family where your opinions and comments matter to us.

I’ll keep everyone posted when the main site will be up. In the mean time I hope you enjoy the forum.

Looks like a pretty decent forum to me, check it out. I registered, will probably keep to the outdoor photography sections. "Which holster is best for crawling through the moss for critter pictures?"

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that as work is progressing on our main site (Your American Backyard) some of the changes are rolling over to the forum area. The color scheme has been updated as well as our logo. For security and stability reasons we also updated the forum software to the latest release. If you get a moment stop by and let me know what you think of it.

Please allow me one small criticism. Under the Second Amendment section it says: "Talk about issues and legislation pertaining to gun control". I think I understand your intent, but I would much rather talk about my freedom to own firearms that someone else's control over that freedom.

Otherwise I enjoyed visiting your site and I will be back.
