I don't see a better looking gun in this thread. That's probably because I really like guns with an honest patina of age and use (not abuse). I have a bunch of pristine guns, but the best looking ones in my eyes are the ones with honest wear, and even better if I'm the one who put the wear on 'em....if I have to pick one, it would be this beat up STI Trojan in 45 ACP. Not the prettiest of the lot, but such a smooth shooter.

I've gotten this way with almost all guns. I appreciate the craftsmanship in older guns much more than I do the modern ones. Plastic, MIM, CNC-and-robot-built, computer-designed guns just strike me as having no soul. They can definitely serve a purpose, but I don't connect to them like I do some of the older guns.I’m growing more and more fond of the older Smiths.
