Hey Catman, my Bar-b-que gun is your Bar-b-que gun's older brother!

S&W Model 19-2

This is not mine, but it is my favorite revolver picture, I took the pic from the S&W forum, it is a 10-7 with a 3" intermediate tapered barrel and a round grip frame. I would love to have one like this. Or if I could find the barrel only I would put it on my S&W 13 3".

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh Brian! That is exactly the Model 10 I am looking for. Three inch bullbarrel, pinned, with a round butt.

But that is not a BULL barrel, it is an intermediate weight barrel. S&W only put them on a very few Model 12s that went to france and a few 10-5s and -7s, most of the 10-5 and -7 were square butts. I want one with the reound butt.

Taurus M44

My favorite is my SS Ruger Speed Six. This is my latest buy and on the way in a week or so - hoping it will be a favorite too.

Man O Man, there are some mighty fine revolvers in this thread! The whole reason I stared this was to see everyones favorite revolver, not necessarily the prettiest but the one you can't live without. I gotta tell you, I have seen some pics I have never seen in any other thread and I'm seeing some great handguns! Keep 'em coming! :)

Marshall,

I am an odd gun nut. I have lots of guns but when it comes right down to it a good .357 revolver, any .357 revolver and a half decent 12 bore would be more then enough to get anybody through 99% of anything.

Here is to the good ole' wheelgun.

Chris, if we were standing around a campfire and you spoke those very words, I'd raise my beer and give a nod to that! ;)

You have stuff nice enough to make a man want more stuff.
Want and need are two completely different things. One thing I have found is these forums will always make a person want something new........doesn't mean they need something new though.

Love the pictures. I have had the misfortune of looking down the wrong end of a .45...a stainless Colt .45 to be exact but I digress. That being said there is something all BUSINESS about lookind down a revolver with all those hollowpoints staring back as if to say..."Lemmmeee at him!!!!"

Chris

Xavier,

here's the one you're looking for...three-inch heavy barrel Model 10. It's the bottom one in the picture...the top one is a 3" HB M13.

Awesome shooters, both of them. The M10 is actually slightly more accurate with .38 Specials, but the M13 pulls even when I feed it .357 Magnum. The other night, I tested .357 Speer Gold Dots in it, and the first group at 21 feet produced an itty-bitty cluster of overlapping holes.

Alright...alright I'll play too!!!

My only two S&W 686-6+ 4" , and the 2005 uncatalogued, limited edition,
Lipsey's exclusive Ruger New model Single Six KNR4 4" Stainless.....Can Ya tell Im proud of this one.........:D

Actually its a set of twins
stagblackhawks.BMP

If I was forced to choose it would be the 4 5/8" Blackhawk since it's a convertible between .45 Colt and .45 ACP. It will shoot loads that nip at the heels of a .454 or shoot cheap Winchester white box .45 ACP for practice.

:D

Of course for real hunting my .454 Super Redhawk with Wegand mounts and a Burris 2x Posilock scope is hard to beat.
300 grain hard cast FNGC at 1650 FPS gets the job done.
