When you go to the range "just for fun" which pistol to you seem to always bring? For whatever reason, I usually grab my Walther P22Q. I can't explain it but its just plain fun to shoot. Despite the pistol's less than stellar reputation, mine has been a real gem. Can't explain why I enjoy shooting this one more than any of my others but I just do. (doesn't hurt I guess that I can send 500 rounds downrange for less than $20!)

Model 20 Glock and my ammo: 150 grain JHP over 16.5 grains AA#9. Astounding accuracy and I love the look on people faces when I uncork 16 in a row.

the Beretta 21.... its challenging to shoot well, so it always stirs up a bit of competition.

BHP with .22 kit and shoulderstock,Colt New frontier .22, Colt 2nd model Match Target Woodsman.

My Ruger Mark III Target.

I've junked the nonsense LCI and mag disconnect and installed a Volquartsen trigger. I can't think of a more fun range pistol on the planet.

For fun, Glock 22/27 with conversion barrels to shoot 9mm lead reloads. Cheap and accurate fun that's good practice for 40S&W carry.

Among 45 pistols, I always seem to put the M&P45 in the range bag for fun. It is lightest recoiling pistol that my wife also likes to shoot with her smaller hands using small grip insert.

Ruger Single Six

Sometimes I forget and pick up the Blackhawk instead - then I just have to enjoy shooting the bigger bullets rather than the little bullets. :D

FNP-9

My FNP-9. First gun I owned, started off as a bedside/home defense gun but now that I have others for that it's purely a range gun. It's fun to shoot, very comfortable in my hand, and because it's FNH it's very reliable.

Taurus 24/7 Pro DS Long Slide, 9mm. I bought it for this very reason. The ammo is cheap, the grip/recoil is absurdly comfortable (That's how I know it isn't the best for SD ;) ), and it is remarkably accurate. I've never carried it, but if there is the slightest chance of getting some shooting in, it goes with me.

This isn't the exact firearm, but it's as close a picture as I can find:

Ruger Mk II - KMK512 model. if we include favorite rifle, either the 10/22 or the 22 conversion kit in an AR.

Other guns are immense amounts of fun and make me giggle (9mm AR near the top of that list)- However it is just near impossible to unseat the king 22.

It was my G17 Gen 2, but I sold it Monday. However, I got a new Gen 3 today, and it will fill that spot fine. I have been wanting to go this route in order to have a rail. Matches the others now, except the G36.

10" Ruger MK II....More accurate than a lot of semi-auto rifles.
