Decision made am going to order the 3x9x40 Zeiss with rapid z600 reticle in stainless.Anyone used DNR sports before

Out of curiosity why are you shelling out the extra $75 or however many extra bucks for the rapid z600 over the #4?

I have a 3-9x40 and 3-9x50 and love them. I would recommend considering the 3-9x50 for the better light transmission.

The Zeiss glass is so good that really you are not gaining all that much from the 50 mm vs. 40mm obj. I personally prefer the smaller obj. because it gets the scope mounted lower which is important to me.

mongo the 50 is like a 100$ more
are they alot of difference in them

Many of my best hunting opportunities are in low light. Light transmission is hard to quantify without a lot of specialized gear or low light and both scopes in hand. I liked a VX2 3-9x50 over a Conquest 3.5-10x44; a friend got rid of one for that exact reason. I get the 50mm obective because I think it is worth the size and cost tradeoff, but it was only $50 more or so for me.

If you hunt at night the 50mm will benefit you but as far as normal daytime legal hunting hours the 40mm will take you far longer than your last possible legal shot.
