I have so many .22s the only one I am missing is a Marlin 39a. They are in fashion now that ammo has gone balistic.
I have 3 .223s
and a couple of 7.62x54r
and a couple of 12g
and a couple of .45 ACP.
I could go on with singles but why bore you to death:)

I have 6 Glocks in .40SW.

I plan to get all auto pistols in .40SW, all revolvers in .38spl or .357 mag (so I can use .38 spl +P). I'll probably be getting a SIG and a 1911 in .40SW sometime this year. Maybe a Kahr PM40 or MK40 too.

and all rifles in either 5.56 or .308

Yes - I have two 10/22s - why - one for me - one for my son.

two 12 ga - one pump, one o/u. Again - one for me - one for my son.

only one 45acp - for now. Next will be a 1911 :) again - one for me, one for my son. He'll get the Taurus - I'll get the Kimber.

I have several guns of the same caliber

My carry gun is a 9 mm and I have a Beretta 9 mm handgun that I shoot in USPSA production class matches. I have a second 9 mm as a backup in case I have problems with the Beretta. Came in handy the last three matches as the Beretta was getting new sights. I have a Beretta pistol caliber carbine in 9 mm I shoot in Tactical and Multi-gun matches. Three 12 gauge shotguns, one a tactical gun for matches, a trap gun and a home defense gun. I'm not a collector, all my guns are well used and specific for the sport or purpose I got them for.

5 - 12 gauges: (Down from 8 at one time)

3 - .357 Mag

3 - .45ACP

3 - .22LR (one handgun, two longguns) (down from 4 at one time)

Others I just have one each of.

Lessee: off the top of my head,

1 - .44 mag, .40, .357 mag, .38s&w, .32s&w long, .380, 7.62x39, 7.62x54R, .30 carbine
2 - 12 ga, 7.62 Tok, .38 spl, .223, .30-30, .45acp
3 - .44c&b, .50c&b, .303 British
4 - 9mm
5 - .22rf

That's all that's functional. I can't count the wall-hangers.

since you said caliber I own 20 from .355 to .364 does that count if you round they're all 36

I have (or will have) a minimum of 3 guns in each caliber, 5 in .223, 4 in .22 and 8 in 12 GA.

Sure would suck to limit a cartridge to only a bolt gun, only a handgun or have ammo and no gun to fire it in after the balloon went up.

I voted for 2 and 3 in one caliber. This is mostly because I'm counting my dad doubles in our collection.
He has a mosin m38 and I have a 91/30 and m38.
We both have a k31, sks, mak, and 10/22.

10+ 9mm
5 .45ACP
4 .22lr
4 .357SIG
4 5.56 / .223
2 12GA
2 .30-30
2 7.62x39

Lookw like I need to find my Seecamp (.32ACP) a brother. Dunno what I'll do w/ the USP-C (.40S&W).

Multiple multiples

3 - .357 Mags (Ruger Security-Six, Ruger GP100, S&W M19)
3 - 12 gauge (Browning A-5 (Dad's, inherited), Western Auto Single Shot (Grand Dad's, inherited), Ithaca M37)
3 - .22 LR (Rem. Slide Action, Browning Buckmark Camper, Taurus M94)
2 - .308 Win. (Rem. 788 carbine, Ruger Hawkeye)
2 - .300 WSM (Browning A-Bolt, Browning BAR)
2 - 6.5x55 SM (CZ 550, Rem 700 Classic)
2 - .222 Rem. (Savage 840, Rem 700 BDL)

Some chamberings are just too much fun!!! It takes more than one!:D:D

I think it's odd to have a lot of different calibers. I try to consolidate so I don't stock as much different ammo. I have 10+ in 7.62x39 and close to that in 5.56. Handguns are all .40SW, .45ACP, or 9mm in multiples of each.

The most I could claim is 4...

In .357:

A Ruger Security Six
A Ruger GP-100
A .357 levergun
And a Timberwolf pump .357

And in 9mm we have:

Springfield EMP
Springfield XD
CZ 75b (2)

In .22 lr :

Old Remington Sportmaster
Marlin Model 60
H&R 9-shot revolver
Ruger Mark III pistol
(Does the kadet adapter for the CZ count separate?)

I have 3 in each of the following:

.40 s&w
.45 acp
.44 special
8mm mauser
x39

Think about it... if your gun is broken, lost, stolen or taken as evidence - then what good does all your ammo do? It is worthless unless you have something to shoot it in. I like redundancy - it makes me feel like I have a "spare tire".

My thoughts exactly.

Unfortunately, my plan to have all handguns chambered for .40SW didn't work out as I needed .38 spl for J-frames. Other than that though, I have no intention of getting any more handgun calibers (with the exception of .22lr which I stock for both handguns and rifles).

Yeah

686+/SP 101/M85 so if you use .38's - 3 guns one calibre.

Generally have 2 guns, 1 calibre (in .45/9mm/.22LR/.32 ACP)

9x18 is the only oddball calibre - just have my Bulgy in that one calibre. i'm also ignorning my currently busted Bersa Thunder in .380.

I have one in (1) 45 ACP.

I have one (1) in .36 cal Muzzleloader.

I have two (2) in 7.62X54R

I have two (2) in 7.62X39

I have two (2) in 12 ga.

I have three (3) in 9mm.

I have twelve (12) in 22 rimfire.

If you don't have more than one .22, you should turn in your membership here and join the Brady site.

Can I stay for a while longer? :D

Good question.

5 or more in same caliber - one: .22lr

4 in same caliber: none

3 in same caliber - five: Tie: 12 gauge, 20 gauge, .17 HMR, .223 rem, 9x19mm

2 in same caliber: Tie: Quite a few.... .22 mag, .410 bore, .45 acp, .45 colt, 6.5x55 swede, .45-70, maybe 1 or 2 others.

1 in a caliber: Tie: Many....

I accidentally voted 3, since I wasn't thinking of .22s.

TC Contender 22 with a 10" match and 14" match barrel
Ruger MKIII Hunter 22lr
Ruger 10/22
Anschutz Exemplar 22lr

The TC and Anschutz are for IHMSA competition, the other 2 are for hunting and plinking.

Norinco SKS and Ruger Mini 30 both 7.62x39

There are three calibers for which I have two guns. 12 gauge, 22 (rifle and pistol) and 223 (rifle and pistol - Contender).

hahahahah let me see i have 5 .22 calibers 4 rifles and 1 hand gun.

Then i have 3 12 guage shotguns

Then i have 4 .44 cal handguns.

Off the top of my head I have like 11-12 guns capable of launching .45acp ammo and like 10 or so 12ga shotguns. I also have many .22lr chambered firearms, maybe approaching 20 or more.

Wow never thought of this. What the heck am i doing with 4 .44 cal handguns. all revolvers. Wow. Maybe i should get a few more.
