I've had to few times when someone scuffed up my timberlands and I had to get some respect, and a few other times when I was doing drive-bys and wanted to hit everyone else except for whom I was aiming at.

I don't want to try. It has crossed my mind a couple of times but I guess I am scared to miss the berm even.

Never occurred to me to try until I read this.

Although, I would like to try the slow-mo sideways dive as I fire two matching pistols.

I did this crap a few times when I used to shoot at this range that was on the outskirts of the "hood" so to speak. I wanted to know what the fuss was about. But now, my "gansta style" occurs when I practice tactical drills and end up throwing some lead from a laydown behind an obstacle position. Realistically, you don't know what you will have to do, so I try different stances as they come to mind.

Try shooting left handed across your right arm because you messed you arm up. Or what about having to shoot above your head and on your back. If all else fails, try shooting from a crapper, incase the $h1t really hits the fan!

Now I understand how the gangsters NEVER hit their intended target--just the innocent children and women in the area around the target--the idiot jerks!!

If your doin it your not ready to be trusted with a gun, immature, and in need of a role model...bad. Its for the ignorant innercity gang bangin chumps who need to be shot. Go take the dread locks out of your pretty blond hair and grow up.

You took Research Methods, and yet your poll options still lack mutual exclusion?!?!
Shame, shame...

Kind of Blued, cut me some slack, It was POS3713 Intro to Research Methods and I made a C in it thank you very much!

yes...I DID it...and I did it not GANSTA style...

I did it Unreal Tournament Style...with two 1911's. :)

of course, it was probably the worst expenditure of 16 rounds of 230 gr. ACP available to me...but by God it was neat. :D

I never really felt the need to do it again...I guess I got it out of my system.

Of course, when I shoot my 308 I still provide my little mental audible "HEAD SHOT" when I get a good bull.

I chose "On Multiple Occasions".
Back when I did my pistol training, we were taught to hold the pistol sideways, round corners with the trigger guard on the wall corner, and sort of "wheel" it around the edge.
Not really "gangsta", but sideways.

I have no desire to emulate anything associated with the "gansta culture" , especially an idiotic pistol shooting style glorified by Hollywood which will more than likely get you killed in a real world scenario.

How can you know and criticize that shooting a gun sideways automatically correlates with bad marksmanship, if you've never yourself tried it?....................hmmmm

I wonder if professional shooters have ever verified this correlation and validated it through an actual experiment model? (aka actually shooting a gun 90 degrees themselves at a target) Or are they just basing it off of theory, a hunch and refuse to even think the notion seriously enough to consider.......hmmm

Well, since none of my pistols have sights mounted on the side of the pistol, I'm gonna say..
No. Not now. Not ever.

And maybe add...why would you ask?
