If you could only have one handgun, what would it be?

lots of great handguns out there, but if I could only have one? I think I'll go with a 10mm glock 29.

When I get it back from S&W, my .38/44 heavy duty 4". For a gun I don't have, I'd choose a 3.5" or 4" mod. 27 hands down.

Dan Wesson Model 15-2 with a couple three extra barrel/shrouds of various lengths... 8" w/ scope, 6", 2-1/2"; it wears a 4" to begin with. The versatility of that design coupled with the accuracy available and the ability to shoot .38 spls and/or .357 magnum loads is something I'd look for in a "One-Handgun" world... a world in which I am glad I do not live, BTW.

Give me my three inch Lew Horton 629 and a couple of good bullet molds...I'll be happier than a clam for the rest of my days.

After arguing with myself I guess it would have to be a 4" M58 S&W .41 magnum because it's been with me the longest and will do it all.
I initially thought a 4" .357, or a 7.5" Supr Blkhwk or P220, but given all the shooting I've done, the most enjoyable has been with the 58. Finer balance than the adjustable sighted ones in my opinion, and rides about as nice as a 4" .357. There you have it. The Bianchi 5BHL would be with it.

Is it okay to hate the OP?

One?

Crap.

Blah blah verstile blah blah blah reliable blah blah common calibre blah blah blah . . .

S&W 586-7, 4-inch .357 in blue and walnut.

And what kind of sicko would condemn a man to only one sidearm?

Ruger SP101 2" .357 Magnum. Still concealable and manageable even in a front pocket. Accuracy. Reliability. Simplicity. Stopping power.

Les Baer 1.5" Custom Carry.

I just enjoy shooting 1911s the most, so might as well get something I'll really enjoy shooting. As cheap as 9mm is, I don't get nearly the joy as I do a gun chambered in .45 ACP.

My twenty year old Taurus model 66 .357 magnum. It still shoots as good now as the day I bought it, and it was darned good then.
