Am I correct in believing that Virginia imposes a "personal property tax" which includes a requirement that you report and pay a tax on the firearms you own?
Before you rush to say "no," I would suggest that the law is on the books, but is simply unknown and/or ignored by most people.
And, having lived there for several years, I agree that Virginia is a great place to live - particularly contrasted with New Jersey.
You can stop anywhere along I-95 in Virginia and settle. Our gun laws are fantastic compare to Jersey.
