Revolver reloads: do you carry speed strips or the round speedloaders

Those who carry revolvers for ccw, how do you carry reloads?

Speed strips. Flat, compact and nobody gives them a second glance.

BTW, I carry two speedloaders for my j-frame smith. They also work for my ruger sp101 so they do double duty.

I voted other because I use both speed strips and speedloaders. I always have at least 1 speed strip for my J frame and when the weather turns colder and I'm wearing a jacket I usually add a speedloader too. So, my "Other" vote really adds up to a "Both" vote.

Safariland comp 2 speedloaders. The strips take too long and I don't have problems concealing the round kind.

I'd rather carry extra Loose Rounds in a pocket, than carry 'Speed Strips'...( Ugh...) it'd be faster...

Other, I carry a 4" N frame in 45 ACP for my daily carry. To reload I use the steel moon clips frrom Ranch Products.

Neither is all that fast, not with ME doing it, anyway. Strips are MUCH easier to carry. All in all, if I'm worried about reloading, I screwed up. Besides, if I'm where I might get gangstered by a gang, I usually have a high cap 9 on me with a couple of reloads.

Not for me. Strips can be quite fast with practice, well, comparatively speaking.

speed strips are an efficient way to carry extra ammo. No they are not as fast as a speedloader but being a civilian in Austin Texas I think it is enough.

If I lived in Detroit or LA a high-capacity bottom-feeding brass-chucker of large capacity and high velocity with multiple back up magazines would be in order.

For concealed carry, speed strips work best for me; as no one ever sees
them in my pocket~!

My life and my security of mind are worth the extra cost of factory ammunition for self defense.

I hardly ever shoot anything but reloads, but my self defense loads are factory.

Factory loads are as good as it gets. Factory premimum ammo has been tested, made of new components, often has premimum bullets that I don't have access.

I hope I never have to ever shoot in self defense, but if I do, I am putting my life behind the best.

I am worth it.
