I saw this link earlier this morning and read some info on it. Looks like a built up 10/22 takedown and you can get mag wells for a variety of mags not just Ruger. The link now gives a 404 error. Does anyone know if this thing is real or just vaporware? Most AR style pistol calibers are a little on the expensive side, I'd like to see Ruger make this and sell it at a reasonable price.

Any thoughts?

I'd say they used the takedown design so it can (more or less) directly compete against the Sub 2000, which Kel-Tec hasn't been able to make enough to satisfy customer demand ever since they began production.

Assuming they make a 9mm CZ-compatible mag well (or one that is close enough to work for CZs), I am looking forward to buying this, too, and comparing them.

Take down so you can switch upper to whatever caliber you want and removable “mag block” to use whatever mags you want...if that’s the case, they are going to make a lot of money on this one.

I wouldn’t bet on it ...be lucky to get one or the other. Leaves the door wide open for aftermarket though.

Looks like a lot of plastic, maybe just the photo (hope).

Give me one in .45ACP and I'll have a suppressor built around the barrel in no time. Marlin Camp Carbines are rare and expensive, PC:s were never available in .45 so this would be a perfect "silent carbine" project. I wouldn't mind having one in 10mm either, though.

This is what I was thinking. It looks awful plasticy...

I would be interested in one if it took M&P or Glock mags, but I have a feeling it will take the American and SR mags. That may be what the different mag wells are for.

On second look, that magazine on the right looks to be a Magpul magazine, who only makes pistol mags for Glock as far as I can tell.

My god you're right, that's exactly what it is, the long awaited internet prophecy is true!

All hail the Glock Carbine!

.... By Ruger.

I had been saving up for a totally different type of rifle, but Ruger really doesn't leave me much choice here. And I'll need to go ahead and put in some paperwork on a .45 can while I'm at it.
