I shot a Cop once with .357 mags, never again.
I know we've agreed to disagree on the Astra's before, brother...lol. I actually like shooting my 600.Astra 400s and 600s . Both have an unpleasantly sharp recoil for the calibers they chamber. Must be the blow-back actions.
.......ummmmmm, typo; I hope......I shot a Cop once with .357 mags, never again.
I just fired a Springfield XDs in 45 Auto, and let me tell you, I would hate to put more then a few rounds down range.
Sounds like an interesting story...I shot a Cop once with .357 mags, never again.
Might want to reword that one...I shot a Cop once with .357 mags, never again.

+1 I remember seeing or reading about that gun. I don't think it gained much popularity.
Wow! A 4 shot .357 magnum derringer that weighed 28 oz’s empty. I see why there was complaints of it being too heavy for a backup gun. I bet it was quite unpleasant to shoot. Still pretty cool non the less and I wouldn’t mind having one.
I own a 38spl j frame +p rated and was given about 30rds of Remington golden saber +p with it so one day at the gun range i decided i'm going to shoot my new gun with those little boot grips on it and the +p ammo. Ouch!!!I agree with the lightweight J frames being miserable to shoot. I honestly feel like I've been whacked across the palm with a hammer handle every time I fire one.
The little LCP can be snappy as well, but nowhere near as obnoxious as the scandium framed S&W's.
My 3" Kimber K6S only weights 25.1 oz empty, and it isn't a problem with full house .357 loads. Might be a problem with the ergonomics of the COP.Wow!
