Stopped by my LGS today and they had people standing in line, had six sales people working all in a roughly 1,200 square foot retail area. The owner must have called in extra people because usually there are only about 4 people working. I was there about 40 minutes and they sold 3 AR's and 5 pistols. The owner told me that they had been busy most of the day. One of the customers asked why it was taking so long for the background check (Tennessee uses a state system for checks) and was told there were a lot of guns being sold in the state which was bogging down the system. Needless to say the owner was quite happy but his shop does quite a bit of business anyway, just not like today.
He has a good staff, friendly and don't talk down to you. You are greeted when you enter the door by the cashier and then asked if you need help by the available staff. I have complimented the owner on his people and he said he won't keep a person if they don't treat the customer with the upmost respect. He has a complete understanding of customer service.
