The original Steam Punk Pistols, a C-96 Broom Handle Mauser, and a Brittish .45 Bulldog.

We used to thaw ground for the next years mining with Steam Points beaten deep into the permafrost and set to pressure....the pipes came in bundles, labled 'Dampft Punkt ,in German, english is "Steam Points"....LOL!!! ahhhh yes, the age of steam power....

FN 5.7x28 products. From battle star glatica to Stargate.
I think the P90 is going to turn 30 in the next few years and still seems futuristic.
But us Americans are so retro we have to take the P90 concept and stick it on another gun from the 1950s.

The Colonials used a few of the Vektor CP1 pistols too-

Some of the humanoid Cylons were partial to Desert Eagles, lol.

The little-remembered Gonz pistols were popular with the Martian Security forces on "Total Recall."

OK. I don't have a picture, but at one point I did fill in the milled out panels on my C96 with a gold magic marker which with a little brown shoe polish buffed up looking like brass inserts. (That's a 25 yd target I shot in a black powder cartridge match. brag brag)

And this is My Space Gun, Charter Arms Explorer II pistol based off the ArmaLite AR-7 rifle.

That's a long eye relief pistol scope. (I notice someone else had a similar idea.)

I wanted a Whitney Wolverine when they first came out, and saw it was perfect as a space gun prop.
To my amazement I am not finding the Whitney Wolverine listed at the Internet Movie Firearms Database.
What is the matter with Hollywood? Astra 400 in Firefly. CZ52 in Battlestar Galactica.
The coolest space gun ever, Whitney Wolverine, in .... nada?

Lanchester. The British Royal Navy copy of the Bergman MP28. With brass fittings (less likely to rust in salt water), and a 50 round version of the MP28 box magazine, magazine compatible with the MP28, MP38, MP40 and Sten gun. Serious cool historical item, there. Deserves to be in an Edgar Rice Burroughs movie.

71FA4B5B-FA6E-49A7-84E5-D7DBC11E1E1E.jpeg I feel like the rhino fits. Especially the 4-6 inch guns with the milled teardrops in the shroud. Add in the rainbow anodized configuration and you have something that not only has a steampunk look from a design stance, but a futuristic energy weapon look as well.

Image borrowed from facebook where it was likely borrowed from somewhere else.

The two classic staples of handgun weirdness, the Dardick and Gyrojet qualify-
A buddy of mine bought one of the Dardicks recently. He gave me one of the Trounds for my "collection". We are discussing how we can reverse engineer or reload the trounds to be able to fire the gun a little bit. Incidentally he is in the plastic container manufacturing business, so he may have a leg up on dealing with the plastic sheath of the tround.
