I would now bet tomorrows rent that there will be a semi auto gun ban. What that exactly looks like I am not sure. But future production of ARs AK and imports of any semi auto parts is almost assured. At first I thought Manchin would stop it but forgot Romney is a weak spine liberal in Republican suit. He banned AR in Mass. So if you have not bought one by now its only gong to get harder to find. I can not believe I can still get mags at fair deals. Ammo and primer's Powder ect are like trying to find the lost Dutchman mines. My local Walmart has no ammo but a few boxes of shot shells. I found one box of 410 Hornady critical defense at my local tractor supply. It was the lone wall flower.

I did a quick check of what is available for guns in the so called assault weapons area. Not much at all. Ammo is even more scarce since the election. Its gong to be a long dry spell. Next ammo may be taxed the heck out of it, driving up the price.

In before the lock.

Bill
no kidding...

OBTW-look at any of the dozen or so ammo search engines and there is LOTS of ammo available..just not local and not cheap.

Go to Gunbroker.com..type in "Ar-15"
I can see a lot of gun stores going out of business. If you don't have anything to sell you don't survive. Shelf's are a bare as old mother hubbards cupboard.

So...is this about a possible AWB or the current, local hoarding and shortages??

IBL...

It depends on what you call luck. If a ban is retroactive ARs could become like a Bump stock. What good is it if you can not take it out and shoot it? Unless its is the NFA that takes over ARs. If you don't register it with NFA then what good is it? You can not take it to the range. Unless you feel lucky or live on 80 acres where you can shoot on your own land.

Except every overpriced link I click is either out of stock, or a nonexistent address.

FFG no there is not "lots" of ammo. Check SG or Midway usa. The only ones who have any ammo at all are the places gouging. It will only get worse. Time will tell.

Depends on what you mean by sky is falling. If you mean its the end of the world most likely not. But if you mean that certain guns will be banned. Ammo taxed and even mandatory back ground checks to buy ammo, a universal bgc, federal red flag laws, making a misdemeanor hate crime a reason to take gun rights away and more then yes that sky is fallen.

Sky is falling, my crystal ball says so.

Nobody really knows what’s coming. Even I’m past Democrat controlled governments they didn’t get stuff like this passed.
Prepare of you feel you need to but don’t panic.

Why I said it wasn't local and it's expensive...Again, is this about a possible AWB or ammo availability?
Misdemeanor hate crime? Is there even such a thing?

Barb but then you read them. Hmmm go figure. FFG. You can post an add for a case of 1000 rounds of ammo sure. SG has ammo but its very limited. 8 cases of 223 1000 rounds at a buck a round. A buck a round for 9mm sure, but how much do they have. I bet you could put it all in one high school half locker.

FFG its about how hard it will be in the coming at least two years to get guns, ammo and reloading supplies or even have a legal right to keep your gun to take to the range. I know many like to stick their head in the sand while whistling Dixie but the stage is set. The dems are not afraid of repercussions any longer. This is not 1994, its very clear because I was born more than a week ago.

I do, I read most of the the threads here. Like you I’m free to share my opinions here just like you. Only difference is, I don’t continue to post off topic threads. So when I click on something I don’t expect it to be political ramblings of frightened individual.

Now that I know all you post is nonsense, i now know I can keep scrolling when I see you wrote something

It's no use worrying about stuff that hasn't happened yet. When the anti gun politicians put forth legislation then we'll know what we are looking at and can rally together to fight it.

Until then, we just have to wait. All I can recommend is be ready, which is the same advice that has been relative as long as I have been around, be ready for the next fight with the antis when it comes, vote pro gun, start thinking about what pro gun politician you can support next time around.
