I agree. In fact recently I decided to do a little comparison with some simple drills (Bill, Devil, some random number of targets/rounds I made up) and ran a Sig 228, HK HK45C, Glock 19 and Dan Wesson VBob alternating in a row.
As long as I gave myself a few practice draws I was able to post similar times and almost identical accuracy on any given drill, splits were obviously a bit different between the 9mm and .45 but first shot on target between Glock, 1911 and DA/SA were right at my normal and accuracy for all was solid.
I'm no pro, not a speed shooter and don't compete, just like to try to improve at the range, but it reinforced my growing realization that given time and effort I can shoot about anything to my skill limit.
That and dry fire is really, really, helpful. I wish I would have accepted that years ago.
