Ordered a Beretta APX A 1 9 mm from Locked & Loaded for $299 with a $100 mail in rebate. Shipping was $20. FFL transfer fee is $25. For a Beretta that sells online in the $400 to $425 range I think $245 is a great deal. Will post a photo when received.
Walmart had a lot of 100 rd bricks of 12ga target loads. Grabbed 6, some are for a friend. 2 boxes of Armscor .45acp, a Norinco Chinese Ak47 mag, 2 boxes Winchester green tips, 2 boxes steel Tula. 223 and 2 boxes of Red Army 7.62x39
I am not renewing my FFL in October so I am snatching any guns that I want. I bought a LCP easy rack rimfire and a Charter 38 spl.for the wife, and a Bergara Rimfire and a Ruger 10/22 Sporter for me. Now I need to start stocking more ammo although I doubt if I could shoot what I have before I give up the ghost.
Another PSA lower. My 6.5 Grendel upper doesn't play well with my Colt lower so I decided to leave the latter mated to it's original 5.56 upper and finish out the Grendel.
A Burris Oracle x for my new crossbow, arrows for another crossbow, 3 boxes of Norinco 7.62x39, a box of Norinco 9x18 Mak ammo, Norinco flat back mag, some surplus AK furniture, and a Rise Armament drop-in trigger for an AR build.
I bought a Swampfox Optics Patriot 6-24 scope at the beginning of the month and just received a chassis from Rigid Alloy for my Savage MkII. I'm just waiting on an AR grip to come in to finish putting it all together. Yeah I got caught and out of all the AR spare parts, I did NOT have a spare pistol grip. I'll be sure to post photos in the rifle section when I get it all put together.
A 500 rd box of Fed 9mm 115 gr ball and a case of 40 boxes 50 rds Aguila "super extra" 38gr hp's. If'n they didn't charge $25 tax and $5+"insurance" it would have been a "bargain" with the free shipping. Chootin' getting spendy. Joe
I think I hit my black plastic gun limit yesterday. I was about to buy another BCM Recce but went with an Uberti 1873 Sporting Rifle in 45 Colt instead. Sometimes wood and color case hardening just puts a smile on my face.
Edit: Well heck, I just ordered a police trade-in Bushmaster XM-15 with a 14.5 inch barrel. I'm a sucker for that barrel length.
