Wow, those are unique.I don't know who "JL" is yet, but I sure want to find out now that I have these vintage pieces. That's a lot of ivory and upon close examination I think the steel is wootz. THAT will narrow down who the smith could be.

Very interesting knives. Is that actual amber with the ivory?I don't know who "JL" is yet, but I sure want to find out now that I have these vintage pieces. That's a lot of ivory and upon close examination I think the steel is wootz. THAT will narrow down who the smith could be.

What color is the boat house at Hereford?
I saw you post on Bladeforums, I got the same one. It's a very handsome 110!Someone . . . who may or may not be a member of this forum . . . who may or may not be saving his pennies for a Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol . . . may or may not have recently received a text message about a Buck 110 stealth run in Magnacut with Honduran Rosewood Scales and nickel silver bolsters . . . and may or may not have shown great weakness.
Allegedly.
Not like a balisong, but it flips with one hand. Can you flip it?

I got two 112s as well LOL. Should have gotten two 110s, but now I'll have a 110/112 set and a 112 for my special pile of nice-ish knives. I like to keep a few knives on hand if I run into someone I like a lot who expresses an interest or a need in having a good knife, an extra premium 112 would be a nice gift to have on hand.Well, then you also know about what happened today, so the 110 is no longer the last knife I bought!
D'OH!
Man, I wish I had you guys' knife budgets!
