I won't be a large military surplus rifle collector, but I will go for quality over quantity. What do you think are the best bolt-action military rifles to own?
I currently have a Swedish Mauser m/38 and a Finnish M39. I wouldn't put the Mosin in the top 5 category, but I bought it nevertheless. At least I got the Finnish M39 version. My next purchase is probably the Swiss K31.
Assuming quality is more important than historical significance or commonality, what are the next two rifles I should entertain? And to make this easy, no, I don't own any 8mm Mauser variations just yet.
