That's what I kinda figured too... BUT looking at this article, it really does appear that Ruger is top dog for handguns...

...and Remington is still tops for shotguns.
Man, that article contains so much data, it's wonderful... The whole background check thing is an eye-opener. We are way ahead of last year. Probably due to an election year thing.
Ruger was the number one U.S. fire arms manufacturer in 2010, outpacing all other U.S. firearm manufacturers by an impressive margin. This was the third year in a row that Ruger achieved the top ranking.
I have to agree on the Rugers being on the list. My best sellers have been the LCP and LC9 with or without the laser. The Hi-point sells well around here because they are affordable, but I can't give a Nagant away. Go Figure.Ruger is the largest gun manufacturer.
I see a ton of Rugers at the local range.
I think that top 10 list is just the guns that Buds sold.
There sure are a lot of Rugers on that list.... I don't trust it to be an accurate list at all.
Funny that people get all offended when their precious Glock isn't on a list. I'm sure this isn't an accurate list, but Buds just doing a little marketing. Don't worry, I'm sure a Glock is on a list somewhere.
