Glock 30SF. It's 10 rounds of 45 ACP goodness in about the same size package as the Glock 19 (9 mm).
Other than certain features, the ASP is almost a 6906 right?Of all time, I'd say the best CCW pistol is the Paris Theodore ASP 9x19mm. That custom 9mm is slick, I would carry that or buy a ASP if I was around in that era.
Of my own firearms, I liked my compact M&P .45acp a lot. It was well made, robust and I sometimes had to glance down to remind myself I had it in my Blackhawk SERPA.
I have a Smith & Wesson Shield no thumb safety 9mm but I plan to get a Glock 43 later this year.
Maybe that will be my all time favorite semi auto CCW pistol.
