It is loaded to the max SAMMI speck 38,500.Rugers handle it just fine.I go to wolf extra lb springs on any thing else but still limit the number of rounds shot.Not to many PD will approve it.I believe NH uses it.It is a wicked round.In a light compact the recoil is really bad.My favorite ammo. Ed

The max Hornady recommends for their XTP 147gr BTHP is 1200 fps and that gives 470 ft lbs but 1100 fps gives 395 ft lbs for a milder load.Very flat shooting.Very good for a 9mm.I like it.No worry about under penatration.:) Ed
