I would go with Springfield or S&W. I love my XDs, plus Springfield has a nice set of 1911s, and the Socom rifle is sweet. I dont own any S&W, but they have a complete line and are a well respected brand.

The 625JM will be my next gun as well. I have a couple folks hunting one down for me. It will be my first revolver and like you my other 45 is a DW CBOB. Cant wait to get my hands on this.

I love the XD Tactical. It has a 5" barrel, low recoil and shoots great. Probably can get them cheaper than some of the others mentioned. It has been very reliable as well. Mick
