Outside diameter of a Hornady LnL powder measure?

Would someone please measure the outside diameter of a Hornady powder measure reservoir

I am trying to see if the rubber cap/top will fit on my LEE auto drum. I do not like the LEE hard cover.

I get 2.235" on mine

It's 2-1/4" OD, 2-1/8" ID w/ 1/16" wall clear tubing (Butyrate I think). Couldn't find a source for less than truckload quantities.

The LEE is 2.49xxx" or so. If the rubber cap is smaller it will probably stretch but the Redding does not say how big it is??

I guess the Hornady may stretch enough??

The problem :confused:

I can't really envision a Lee press on my bench costing less than the accessories I'd attach to it...mostly Inline Fabrication stuff...that's what happens with the Lee pricing model
 
The plastic top of one of the many cans of spray paint I have fits perfect. I like the black for contrast:)
 
And you get brownie points for recycling. ;)

I agree with you about the Lee lid. I snugged mine up with some strategically placed masking tape.
