If you compare the dimensions of a P2000 side by side with a G19, I think you will be surprised. They are roughly the same height with a flat-base mag in. My G19 is actually taller by maybe 1/16-1/8" but I also have Heinie sights on it which are slightly taller than factory. In length, the Glock slide/frame is about 1/4" longer, measured to the back of the grip, the Glock is about 1/2" longer (both with medium backstraps in place). In width, the bottom of the P2000 slide is wider than the G19 slide but the top of the P2000 slide is skinnier than the G19 slide. The frame of the P2000 is narrower than that of the G19 measured at any comparable point. I think web-goers see the 1.37" width listed on HK's website and assume it is a fatty. That measurement refers to the ambidextrious slide release which is the widest part of the pistol. If the Glock were fully-ambidextrious like the HK, and you compare apples-to-apples for the slide releases (the extended Glock slide release is much closer to the standard HK slide release lever; the available slim slide release levers from HK are about the same profile as a standard Glock lever) then they would be similarly dimensioned at the slide release. The Glock grip is definitely bigger and thicker in the hand, but you do get two extra rounds for the bulk, so it isn't for nothing.
In the end, six on one, half dozen of the other. Feel is a subjective thing, but many of the measurements don't support that the P2000 is the bigger or bulkier of the two. I believe the HK is heavier, but I have never measured.
