What's in your plastic semi auto collection?

I've only held onto 2, my LCP and a Hi Point C9.

The ones that didn't make the cut are a Glock 23 and a USP 45.

None, unless you consider synthetic grips (Hogue Monogrip on a Ruger SP101, Pachmayr on a 1911) to count in the list.

I abhor plastic fantastics. I don't even like or own aluminum frame pistols.

I am an old phart.

Years ago I was very much a traditionalist when it came to my guns. Nothing but American made blued steel (okay there was also the occasional nickel plated gun), and walnut grips for my handguns (there was a Browning Hi-Power too but that was alright because of the J.M. Browning connection). And everything was just fine in my own section of small town America. But then European manufacturers like Beretta, Walther, HK, SIG/SAUER, and others started to catch my eye. I started to dabble with aluminum alloy framed guns too, like a French Manurhin P1. Now that I think about it my first "polymer" handgun was an HK P9S with it's plastic trigger guard and front section of the frame.

Then there was my first true polymer gun, a Glock 17, over 30 years ago, a Steyr M9 some 10 years back, and there have been quite a few others since, the latest being a Kahr CM9. I guess keeping up with the latest in handgun design and technology has been more important (and interesting), to me than holding on to the traditional blued steel and walnut grip semi-autos of the past.

Ruger P95DC,Walther P22, Keltec P3At, and a Taurus PT111 (I never fired it) Let me give a disclaimer before I list the rest. I'm in no way a Glock fan boy, but I gravitate to buying them with the LE blue label pricing on Glock pistols. I'm open minded and wished I could bring myself to buy something else, but the price gets me every time. Also Department policy required that any off duty gun to be a Glock for it to be approved. It's gotten more relaxed now, but it was that way when I bought most of them.
So here goes: G27, G23, G17, G30S, G26, G42, G43, G22 GEN4, G22 GEN3.

Your joking right? Please tell me you’re joking. I have a g23 and a usp 45 that don’t get shot much anymore but they are both tried and true defensive pistols. Way more than any ruger or hi point could ever be. I just can’t fathom how a g23 and usp 45 couldn’t make the cut but a lcp and c9 could. Am I missing something here?

LCP,LC9s pro, SR9e, STI GP6C, PPS 40, Steyr S40, XDm 3.8 compact, FNS 40, XDm 5.25 40, Kahr CW45 and I guess my STI VIP should count as at least 1/2.

Nothing. I rid my safes of plastic guns a few years back. Decided to focus on blue and walnut. I do miss my glock 17 but I can't put my finger on why yet.. I'll get another I suppose.

Daisy 717 air-pistol is about it for me. I'm still coming to grips with alum. framed guns.

None anymore. Traded away my XDs to help offset the cost of the Bullpup9, which is all-metal.
