I cannot decide what to get next...

I'd go with a Sig 229 or 226 - I prefer 9mm, but .40 is a fine choice as well (and with the .229 you can go with both .40 or .357 sig with a barrel swap). The only problem with Sigs - at least for me - is that Sigs tend to multiply. After my first Sig (p229), I traded away my S&Ws, Glock and Ruger - and accumulated another p220, p226, p228 and two p6/p225s.

I've heard the Sig trigger is like the CZ 75B trigger. If that's the case, it's not for me.

Personally, I don't find the Sig and CZ triggers to be comparable, and I have both. The Sig is much smoother in DA/SA mode. The CZ feels .... mechanical? ... with a heaver DA pull. The takeup on the two triggers are very different.

IIRC, a standard Sig 226 DA pull is around 12 lbs, and SA is 4.5 lbs, as is pretty much the case with my 226. My p229 comes in at around 10.5 lbs DA / 4.5 lbs SA.

My CZ-75B trigger pull comes in around 12.5 lbs DA / 5.75 lbs SA

You can also take a look into the short trigger for the Sig if the factory standard is not working for you.

In DAO - if that's your cup of tea - the CZ trigger pull seems to be longer than the Sig.

Test drive the various options, that's the best way to decide what fits your preferences...
