So my friend and I are both Arizona residents but are headed to the Las Vegas gun show this weekend to sell some stuff. We both have several fire arms we want to sell, I am ok with leaving mine at home if it will create problems or headaches, my question is do we need an FFL to transfer to a Nevada resident if we are physically in Nevada selling the fire arm? We are both private sellers just trying to liquidate some assets. I also read a thing in another thread about sales tax, I am wondering if that will also be an issue? Thanks in advance.

As an AZ resident selling to NV residents, it is an interstate transaction and the sale is legally required to be processed through a Nevada FFL. Your physical presence in Nevada does NOT make a private sale legal without the transfer being processed by the Nevada FFL. You might try to make an arrangement with an FFL at the show to do any transfers for a minimal fee, but that may also discourage some buyers.

Moderator comment: I edited this post to add the "NOT". I suspect the omission was a simply typo.

You are correct. Thank you.
My fingers got ahead of my thought. Sorry

Yes, under federal law. That would be an interstate transfer and requires an FFL to do the transfer.
