I'm disgusted that I'm paying the salaries of these goons. No doubt California is a bergeoning police state, with jerks like Chin making a good living harassing and trashing the lives of decent men via BS unconstitutional laws.

Too risky to go after real bad guys, like the MS-13 gang bangers pouring into the state. Instead, the politicans want to give them free tuition.

I've reached the point that the only thing holding me here is my job. Family, climate, & all the other justifications no longer compensate for the idiocy of this place.

Residents of Delaware would cross into MD to buy beer and wine. DE undercover state police would follow them into MD then charge them when they went back into DE.

I was in Sussex County, DE a couple days ago. Delaware is most certainly not a dry state. Plenty of bars and restaurant that serve booze (beer, wine, and hard liquor). I even saw a couple package stores. Not as many as up here in CT, but they were around. I bet the stings were to ensure DE got its tax revenue.

I'm pretty ignorant of alcohol tax laws, so this may well be a terminally stupid question. How can one state penalize someone for buying liquor from a different state, if they are not prohibited from buying legally (i.e. under twenty-one)? It doesn't seem to add up.

The stings MD to DE did have to do with tax revenue (Sorry I should have made it more clear). It did have anything to do with DE being a dry state. It would be nice if law enforcement in NV would take this cue and arrest the CA cops.
