So true. I'm on my third Shadow. I have a standard SP-01 Shadow, a carry optic Sp-01 Shadow and a short dust cover Shadow. They are my favorite handgun.

Their shotguns aren’t bad either. My daughter wanted a 12ga SxS so I got her a CZ

great gun but the finish is soft . it will be nicked by brass case mouths landing on it if you are shooting another gun. so keep it to your left when shooting another gun.

Very nice. After wanting a CZ for a long time, I also recently bought my first CZ, a CZ 75B SA. Love that gun. It is rapidly climbing the list of my favorite guns.

Awesome choice! I really like my cz shadow 2. I have mentioned before,I polished the interior stuff and converted mine to single action. I put in the cajun gun works flat trigger. No extra springs and it has a 2 lbs pull. Very accurate for me. I don't plan on selling this one.

I bought my daughter a 460 magnum once , she wanted a sig 1911......so we got both....confusing ain't it.....we both be happy.....somehow......the things we do for our kids..........I just added a couple 97's to my Cz family...take care

Thought I’d just do a quick update for info sake.
I really like the factory grip panels but they are a bit small for me. Ordered some LOK palm swell grips.

They are extremely grippy almost to the point of irritating my middle and ring fingers. There’s other textures for those who want them. They do fill the hands better for sure. Looking forward to a range session.

Those LOK grips look great! I agree that a bit of a palm swell goes a long way to improving grip feel. A Pre-B CZ75 was my first centrefire semiauto in the mid 1980s so I’ve got a soft spot for them. I had a Shadow 1 a few years ago when I was still competing in handgun and really liked it—and the Shadow 2 looks even better.

Honestly I still have no idea if I’ll even get to compete. My work situation isn’t ideal and I have little spare time. It’s contingent on a promotion I’m going after that will eliminate overtime for the most part.
But even if I never compete, I’m glad I picked this gun up. Totally worth the fun of shooting it.
I handled a CZ Tactical Sport Orange today. I was drooling. I almost put it on layaway but I had my mind on something else.

I got my Shadow 2 on a deal I couldn't pass up for an overstock model, black and blue. By far my favorite pistol. My work schedule doesn't allow me to compete either but I want another one real bad, problem is I doubt I will come across a deal like that again anytime soon. No shops around me carry them so I haven't had the chance to fondle a TSO but I am pretty sure I would have to take it home if I ever got the chance.

Looks great my next purchase I believe. I love my old 75 after CZC got through with it innards same as S2. Even better trigger and action than S2 I have compared it to. 1911 Hi Powers and CZ my favorite autos. I love Lok palm swells put them on my 75 and 97 and 1 Hi Power best way to go. I agree aluminum grips are pretty but to small for my hands as well. Great looking pistol have to get one when find right deal.

Nice! I have a buddy that is able to afford CZ customs and Cajun custom CZ's, so as a great friend, he lets me shoot them. TSO is unbelievable! I have an 85 Combat and a P01, I just had the opportunity to acquire a Bull Shadow and holy cow is it nice. Love shooting CZ's. New grips look good. Enjoy you New Shadow 2.

No good pics of New Bull yet. I picked it up put 50 S&B 124 gr through it. Cleaned it and put it away. Trigger is crazy nice. I didn't even have my shooting bag. Stopped at range, got some ear plugs, the rounds, a target and a lane and had at it. What a satisfying day.

As examples of what I said earlier about the upgrades on the Shadow 2 compared to my 75B, my 75B has the upgraded CZ Custom rear blind sight that hangs over the back plane of the slide a bit, and the stock ring hammer is a bit hard to thumb cock with the new extended rear sight. The Shadow 2 comes with the comp hammer that has the flat at the top so it is easy to cock that hammer with an extended rear sight. The Shadow 2 has the upswept beavertail that doesn’t bite the web of your shooting hand the way that the straight beavertail on my 75B can. The Shadow 2 has a checkered backstrap that I really like and which the 75B could surely use. These are all really great upgraded features on the Shadow 2 that IMHO are well worth the extra cost.

And that’s really where I landed. The differences in the Shadow 2 suit me better, but also seem to offer good value for the price in my eyes. I also like the frame with the bit of a hump on it. It fits my hand better than a 75B. In fact poor hand fit is why I haven’t picked up a CZ sooner. This gun is a different beast.
I mean if you’re happy with your gun then cool. But since this is my first CZ I figured I’d just jump straight to what I really wanted.

You’ve got the CZ bug! I would predict that you’ll switch your EDC to CZ and also get a 75. I have two 75s and LOVE them.

So I don’t have targets to show because I was shooting steel plates. But I put another 300 rounds through this gun on Sunday. It was the first time with the different grips I put on it.
It’s quickly becoming my favorite gun. I was shooting at two 6” plates, one at 15 yards and another at 20. I was also shooting at one of those plastic shooting balls that’s around the size of a softball. The nice part is that the ball moves around.
These were not long distances, but I was hitting very consistently when I didn’t get in the trigger too much. It’s easy with the low recoil to want to go faster and faster. Accuracy dropped at those moments and I had to settle down. The ball was rolling all over.
The sights are fantastic and transition between targets quickly.
Recoil was so slight I could’ve happily put another 300 rounds through it.
I’ve never shot a standard 75B, and I have no intention of buying one. The next CZ I buy will be a TSO. Caliber is the only question.
