I want to say thank YOU!

Yeah, man. I'm not claiming great knowledge or experience, but this place/you guys (girls) are special.

No other internet group holds a candle to THR. You folks are like family.

Continuing with the patting ourselves on the back, I can say that every single THR member I've met in person ended up becoming a friend (and shooting buddy). Honest, normal hard-working folks (and a butt-ton of revolver knowledge abounds here as well).

THR is definitely an excellent forum. I definitely appreciate it. I lurked here for a while before deciding to join. Very glad I did.

This is a great forum, I've lurked on many over the years and figured if there was one to join THR was it. Courtesy and patience are in short supply on planet earth, I find both here. No BS , no nonsense and some good humor to mix it up a little. You folks are my internet friends and I'd take the most detestable member here over just about anyone off the street any day. Glad you're here @shoebox1.1 , I like your revolver posts.

my work is always outside my door. The farmwork has no end. It's a constant circle of seasons. And each season brings its own problems. My wife and three adult sons work together with me.

THR provides an escape for me. My life-long passion has been firearms and shooting disciplines of all sorts. On these pages and topics, I can unwind.

This is indeed a really solid place...and good folks around here. I too have been on internet forums for decades and this is easily one of the best. So little bickering and fighting, it's a breath of fresh air. Lots of helpful members, especially in the reloading section...which is great. Once, I was on many different forums, I've now boiled that down to 3 and of them, THR is the place I post the most.

I boiled it down to 1, and a couple cell phone games I play at night to get my mind off of stuff. If I could figure out how to shut my brain off and go to sleep then I would just be here, but when I read posts on here I get ideas and then my mind wanders until 4am and then at 5:30 it’s time to get up. At least when I play spades against some random guy in Belgium I can just get mad at my partner and hang him out to dry and feel good about it, and nothing to think about and keep me awake. It gets really bad when I read hunting stories at night, I haven’t hunted in 6 years and it’s driving me crazy, I have to live Just by reading through some of the stories and pictures posted here.

I joined years before posting. I usually spent my time on another forum... but I haven’t been on there in a long time. Too much hoopla, too little time for it.

The folks on THR are by far the most knowledgeable and helpful gun-people I’ve ever seen. I’ve expanded my knowledge base immensely paying attention to these people. You will, too.

I still belong to a couple of other gun forums but I haven't visited them in quite some time. THR has many great members that I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences while learning a thing or two (okay maybe a few thousand things!), about so many diverse and interesting topics!

Also kudos to the THR Mods who do a fantastic job of keeping things running smoothly and on track.

I used to visit 1 other site and eventually realized that most of the posts I enjoyed or appreciated were by people who were also members here. So I haven't been over there in a coons age.
