Buying another HK

My HK P30s V3 is one of my most favorite and reliable handguns. HK knows what they are doing. One can't go wrong with the newer model HKs.

My SIL has one and really likes it. I shoudda got me an FNX-40 while I had the chance.

Consider the HK45C Bbl. length a Minimum for .45 ACP, and even then w/ "+P" ammo.

Lot of pistol for just a CCW.

A Glock G36 will pretty much do the same thing for 25% less weight and considerably less cost.

Would go w/ the std. HK45.

For me, the HK45c shoots almost as well in my hands as a Glock 19 (not even close with a 36 or even a 30), holds two more rounds, conceals just as well (overall width doesn't matter as much for me), holds two more rounds and can use 10 round backup mags.

Clear winner in my book. Not that the 36 isn't a nice enough carry gun.

Edit:. The weight savings is nice, but the HK45C still hits my sweet spot where I don't find it uncomfortable, if at the top end. That of course might change as I age.
