Here are a couple of mine. In case it isn't obvious, I really like SxS guns:
Baikal IZH-43, 12 gauge. Just a good, solid, all-round double gun for whatever comes it's way:
My pet, a BRNO SLE 12 gauge. I call it my "communist Purdey"; its choked LM/WS1 and is pure murder on things that fly:
Winchester M24 16 gauge, from 1939; it has a 4 digit SN. Contrary to popular opinion, it handles quite well; not as well as the BRNO, though.
One of my favorites, is this Winchester 1897 12 gauge. It was built in 1914, shipped to a local hardware store, and has not strayed far from this area that I'm aware. It's still tight, and shoots quite good:
And finally, the "kitchen door gun"; this is the one that accounts for most of the critters in the yard/garden/chicken-house. It's a Stevens model of 1913 (I think); I bought it for $50 at a yard sale somewhere. The wrist of the stock has been repaired with leather and it locks up... mostly. However, using Aguila SV #2 shot, it has accounted for several would-be chicken thieves and vegetable raiders:
My apologies for the poor pictures; I shoot better than I photograph! There are a couple others that I don't have pictures of, my collection of M37 Winchesters being the main ones, and my M12 16 gauge. Will try to add those pictures later. Enjoy!
