Any one having experience with this supposed "ball" black powder. I am curious regarding charge consistency and ease of handling. I use Swiss 1 1/2 in my cartridge rifles and am pleased with the performance of the powder in my application. Others may scoff because of cost, be that as it may. I have some on order from Buffalo Arms Co. I will post at a later date what I experience.
Thank you and have a glorious day.

You might want to compare it with Olde Eynsford made by Goex to compete with Swiss. They’ve done quite well, though many seem to feel Swiss edges it a little bit. But OE is made here and cost about $2 more than standard Goex.

Olde E is the only black powder I’ve used, but figure one day I’ll have to try Swiss myself.

Old e is now all I'll use in my revolvers. I still use red label Goex to reload center-fire bp cartridges and for my ML rifles though as I have a few lbs left

Ultimately I’d like to get an inexpensive chronograph and test 2 and 3F Olde E and T7, along with Swiss adding in 4F as well. I might even try 1.5F if I find 2 doing exceptional.

In a perfect world I’d need only 1 powder to shoot all my guns. I’d be willing to sacrifice a little velocity from my revolvers if accuracy was still very good but worked so much better in my rifle. I’d also be willing to use reduced loads of 4F in my rifle it did best.
