So I have been messing around setting up the reloading bench and prepping some 357 cases.
I have an old rcbs rs press. Was changing out the primer cup and thought the post was threaded.
I got the post out, it’s not very usable now. So I get on rcbs site to remedy my mistake. Ended up emailing their support to buy a part. Nope they are sending me the new primer arm and large and small cups no charge. What service. Even told them it was my fault.
We need to support these companies that value their customers.
I will now be a customer and supporter of them. Hope we never lose service like this.
In fact I will probably buy their new press to replace this one just because of this.

I’ve got their smallest, lightest press, the Partner, and I haven’t found a cartridge it can’t handle. Even .303 run through a No.1 SMLE (chambers sized to fire with a teaspoon of French mud and a cartridge). They make good stuff. Thanks for letting us know.

I’ve been reloading for decades and have found RCBS to be 2nd to none when it comes to customer service.
I can’t remember how many times they’ve pulled thru for me on stuff that I broke or ruined by mistake.
I’ve always offered to pay for the pieces and parts that I needed, but they just ship em to me anyway....even for my old 1980s RC press that has probably over a million strokes of the ram.
I buy and use a lot of their stuff just for the warranty and customer service that I’ve received from them....no one else even comes close to RCBS when it comes to customer service.

Customer Service is great to have, BUT outstanding quality, at a fair price is foremost, IMO.

I have 22 sets of dies, 16 are RCBS. The others are mixed. Some cost less, but quality is less. Others cost more, but quality is no better.

Other equipment, scales, powder measure, trimmer, case prep, presses, tumbler, are 90% RCBS. I decided years ago, buy nothing but GRREN.

Blue, red, orange, gray, yellow, black or purple;

Color me GREEN

Have had the need for CS from several reloading equipment manufacturers over the decades. Green has been great. Red, reasonably good. Blue was acceptable.

Me Threeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!! I recently broke the decapping rod and pin on my 22-25 heavy duty decapping set. I emailed them and they sent me a new rod with nose and pin and a 5 pk or headed pins, for free. What great Customer service. Most of all my reloading equipment is GREEN. Would have anything else!!

When I was a young and poor soldier.....the movers lost the handle to my partner press when I was coming back to the states from germany. RCBS shipped me a new one overnight with a "thanks for you service" note, and a RCBS direct store credit of a hundred bucks. They can do no wrong in my eyes.

You, and nearly everyone else who's called them. Long term factory support for their products is a significant reason there's so much deep green in so many of our tool chests.

I recently picked up an RCBS Trim Mate Pro 2 to replace my Hornady and the link that attaches the handle to the trimmer spindle was bent to hell. Sent a message to them to see if I could get a replacement and that I could send a picture if needed. No need, the confirmed my address and sent a replacement out in a day or so. Just got here today.

Most of my equipment now is RCBS excepting dies, which are a mixed bag of Hornady, RCBS, Lee crimp dies and 1 Lyman M die.

I like what they got. My Partner press has been serving me well since I started handloading last spring.

I bought a RCBS primer pocked swaging tool at a gun show used, and later found one of the rods was slightly bent. E mailed RCBS about getting a replacement and they sent me a new one, NO CHARGE. Another time I broke the spent primer catch tray on my Rock Chucker, after a e mail they sent me a new one NO CHARGE. BEAT that for customer service!!!.

Imagine if RCBS' warranty read like this, "return your damaged RCBS item with half payment of the new cost and we'll refurbish it to working condition for ya".

Now imagine if the new cost of their stuff was 1/3 less. Would you still buy it? I would, because their quality is high, but I wouldn't go out of my way for green stuff.

I bought RCBS calipers specifically for their warranty. Made in china like all the other cheap calipers but if I drop them and they go on the fritz, RCBS will fix them or replace them.

90% of my dies are green, scales all green, calipers all green, 1 press green. Always my first option.

And the only time I ever called was 25!years ago for tech advice. Although I didn’t need anything replaced, that call was so memorable, they converted me for life.

Vortex Optics is a close 2nd in CS.

When I was experimenting with different bullets for my 44, RCBS sent me one each of their various sized 44 expander plugs so I could dial in. I ultimately use an noe plug for my .431 bullets but I have plenty of options as result.

I've had other occasions that they sent seat plug assortments for me.

Another occasion, that I needed a cover for an Ohaus(not RCBS marked) 10-10 and RCBS rep found one in a box in the back and sent to me.

My current 505 scale I got in a box of stuff gifted to me after my house burnt. I sent it for a tuneup and it came back cleaned, with the knife edges dressed and works perfectly.
