two hours to deprime 1000, not bad, I use mine to size and deprime 9mm brass after I tumble. I always lube the cases and it goes well. I also lube my Lee APP B4 I get into a long session like that. IMO it is a great reloading tool as long as it is used within its capabilities.

I deprime/size about 500-750 (who counting) .38 brass a few nights ago. 1 hour maybe, did not even use lube. I use wax in my tumble and it felt slick enough.

The lee app best 80 bucks I have spent since I started reloading. I use it just to process my 223 brass. I tumble it lube it resize and deprime. After that I use it to trim my cases. I hooked my dillon case feeder to and this thing just zips along.

With the four tube rotisserie, 900 308 cases in an hour is the norm. Which, includes loading 37 cases into the four tubes when I run out.

TIME......the one thing we cannot buy, beg, borrow, or otherwise barter for.........APP allows the reloader STEAL time!!!

I just picked one of these up to speed up my depriming. The reviews have been unbelievably positive, I'm excited to give it a whirl.
it’s $80 for the deluxe kit! I’m spent more on primers that O don’t even need then this absolutely amazing plastic press looking thing

Lee if your reading this… Lee APP #2 with metal parts and roller bearings, call it the “Lee Time Press”

Hi
Just got my lee app press love it I am using lees undersized 9 mm carbide die to size and get the Glock bulge out of the case I try 100 rounds on a single stage press before running them though my Dillion square deal the question I have is should I remove the Dillion sizer from the Dillion square deal before loading since they are deprive and size already or leave it in and resize them again as I would normally do on fired brass

It won't hurt to resize them again at all. It will catch any you missed the first time.
Your powder measure must be a PTX type with only three stations.
But! :
Have you ever tried seating and crimping in two different stations. Can you rotate the powder measure to station 1 on a SDB?
This would be the perfect time to see if you like it. I used to do this on my Pro 1000 when I was still running it 30 years ago.

No can’t move the powder measure because of the linkage but thanks going to reload as normal so far I did a 100 cases with sizing in the lee undersizer first then ran them through the Dillion as normal looks like I got the Glock bulge out no jams I use to get a couple of of a 100 rounds are family all have Glocks so there a lot of reloading I glad I saw this press and the lee die I did try the 9 mm Mac with the case buster didn’t like the way it turn out it mass up the rim a little so time will tell going to step it up and do 500 rounds for r next trip to the range thanks for the help stay safe and healthy , Ron

Ok, good to know. I don't have a Dillon press, I use a Hornady APP.
It's not hard to get that bulge out with a normal seating die. I use RCBS dies and if I set the die to touch my shell plate with the ram up and the shell plate full, it will get the bulge out of Glock fired cases.
I watch for the large Guppy bellied cases though from very high pressure loads, and if I see them they get pitched in the scrap bucket, even though my die will make them look normal again.
I feel they have been pushed past their safe limit.
Good luck to you and I know the APP will be a time saver for you.

I to am a card carrying member of this latest craze. Set it up yesterday, I thought it would be bigger, with the 4 tubes, collator, and wood roller handle. Run a couple hundred 40's through it then swapped out to 9mm, as my 3 1/2 year old grandson would say, "Grampa it's stoopid fast"

I really want one but I don't have the components or the money to load much.

That’s OK, I’ve had one for awhile just to fondle one, still haven’t used it for anything. Already had stuff that covers it’s intended uses so I didn’t need it but I do like the fact an American company is trying to come up with new and innovative presses vs just try and copy others.

It’s also about half the price of 1 tank of fuel…

I see lots of room on that bench. Just move over a few things and drill new holes. If the old holes bother you just cover the top with a new sheet of Formica or glue wood doweling in the holes. I have two progressives, two single stage presses, a bench primer, a trimmer, a Trim Mate, and finally a Lee APP on a bench that long.

Then you can go up with collators too. ;)

As for a new APP. It's cheap enough to replace if its been improved. And IMO it needs a few. I've already made several on mine....as have many many others. If new rumours are true, good! It's time Lee. Better than RCBS's habit, of ignoring the little things until they become big and they stop selling.

That’s why I changed vehicles. Wife’s car gets 27mpg on regular. My former vehicle was getting 18mpg of diesel. New vehicle gets 25mpg on regular. I miss the higher clearance and the large bed but I have to admit there’s some nice things about a suv. And I got extra money for supplies if I ever need something…and can find it.

Agreed about the American company trying and innovating. I stuck mine to a Ultramount so I could swap it out with my bench primer. Now that they have a primer version too, I'm wishing for a more trouble free primer feed. My RCBS APS version isn't perfect either, small primers is its weakness. Safe and efficient. Seems to be mutually exclusive so far.

I use mine mostly for depriming for the tumbler, but it swages faster than anything except maybe the 1050. (again it's the autofeeding) I tested the first swager Lee made for it, and it worked well only after I reread the directions....carefully...and now they've improved? Have not tried the new swager....probably will at some point, as that little kit's not expensive.

The real advance to the Lee APP concept is bullet and case feeding on a single station press. If you haven't connected a collator to one, you haven't seen the potential of it. Extremely fast case prep on a single station tool, that frees up the progressive for just loading. But as you know, there's lots of ways to skin a cat, and you're already skinning away.;)

I bought one when they first came out. Still haven't been able to get it to run right. I haven't touched it in a few years. Maybe its time to revisit it.

Put on my new Inline Handle for the Lee APP, sized and deprimed 200+ 9mm,View attachment 1036398 works great.

I never liked the idea of reversing the levers and placing the handle between. It gets in the way of the feeding system. TylerR came up with "offsets" to help, but just perferred the original. (smallish hands anyway). But this new Inline product doesn't reverse the levers.........I like. Will probably buy one.

This time share your problems here. Betcha we can help. There are fixes that work.

I think one would be great for sizing cast bullets, I like to size before and after powder coating so the app would be nice.

Thanks for the offer, I'll get it back on the bench and start playing with it. Will post up videos of the issues. That should make it easier to diagnose.
