What do have waiting for you in the reloading room?

I have one, but I got it mainly for depriming.......the bulge busting was just an added bonus......

I don't have many range pickups in 10mm, mostly all new Starline.
I had a little issue with some full bore loads.......
find 10mm is like finding quarters at the range

I just picked these up at my office today. I was either on vacation, or forced to stay away with Covid, for the past 5 weeks:

I am looking forward to making some heavy bullet loads with these and a few boxes of heavy wadcutters in the same diameters I got from Matts Bullets.

Stay safe.

NICE! me and the family (15 people) got covid 2 weeks ago on vacation. Was nothing but body aches and small fever. had mosquito bits worst!!

with primers being so expensive, everything i’m loading is full house and heavy, make it worth it

Today I did some more work on my Hybrid Summit/APP. I really needed a longer spring than what Lee provides, but can't find one suitable, even web surfing, so I had to improvise, drilling and tapping for a pivoting extension. Got all the parts printed and installed. The shuttle actually works and works smooth. Tomorrow I will work on the feeder downtube to the shuttle, and will print 2 more parts to perfect things. I believe it just might work, but am under no pretenses that it would be anything popular.

But I am curious.....am I the only Summit press user on THR?

The black parts are 3 in number screwed down with just two screws. The primer outlet replaced the stock one that didn't drop to anywhere.

Tomorrow I'm going to print a smaller spent primer tray to replace this RCBS tray. The one piece spent primer outlet I printed last night (tube and reservoir is a one piece 2 hour print).

Shuttle tryout worked....

that COOL man!

But the APP has enough leverage for rifle brass. And is the size of a coke can

I have an APP and love it, but the one thing that I saw and couldn't resist copying, was the concept of a case feeder for a single station press. So then this Summit is just staring at me, and the design is open faced, and just crying for such a mod. ;) It doesn't lend itself easy for the tool connect under, so it's not an over/under like the Lee. But the case feeder idea by itself is plenty awesome.....and on a press that beefy, even better.

Can't have too many presses....can't have too many case feeders either. :)

BTW, Mister Walkalong.....I posted that in error.....I intended to post it in the other "reloading room" thread......it was late. Don't know if you can, but moving would be a good option....

But if not....what I have waiting for me in the reloading room is cleaning up the project mess....the least favorite part.

I would like that setup for my Rock Chucker! Hook me up man!!!

On my way to the range.

Will shoot 14 eight round mags of 45ACP & 9 ten round mags of 9mm. Perhaps I’ll reload a few and go some more but just as likely not. My hands are simply out of shape or just too old for more than that. (The 9mm is easy. It’s the 45 that takes a toll.)

I hope to recover at least 90% of my cases.

Anyway, a few errands to run thereafter. Once back home I’ll probably decap/size/gauge and put in the “ready to tumble” containers.

I have a small Frankford tumbler and tumble 45ACP once I have 200ish and 300ish 9mm in a few pounds of SS pins.

I have some loads I still need to evaluate:
357sig loads from 11/6/2020, 5/6/2021, 5/7/2021 and 10/10/2021
38spl lead loads from 3/20/2022
357mag loads from 11/6/2020
9mm loads from 7/20/2022

I also have a brass rotation process I need to take care of. My 9mm range brass container is just about full, so that means I need to clean the brass in my oldest filled container with decapped brass, sort them by headstamp, put them in the loading rotation, decap the brass from the range brass container, and fill now the newest container with decapped brass. That will leave me with an empty range brass container again.

Not exactly in "the room," since I don't have a "room" but it is a new project and it is gun related. I finally found a blued old New Model Ruger Dragoon grip frame for my 6-1/2" .357 Blackhawk. I've been looking for one for years at a reasonable price - no go. I couldn't even find one at an unreasonable price. Then I saw it on GoneBroker: $46 shipped.

I don't need the grip or included parts, just the frame. It's a little rusty, which is fine by me, but it fits my Blackhawk without needing a lot of buggery jiggering.

Now I just need to find the time to sit down with some 0000 bronze wool and Ballistol and turn that rust into a nice patina.

Loading about 150 308 brass that GeoDudeFlorida sent me.
I got my small base 308 resizing die and already resized them, they fit my Rem 760 now.
but
I can't find any IMR4064 or other powder in a suitable heat range to use.
I will have to start looking at mail ordering it if I can ever find any in stock.
I'm a patient man, wait and watch.

I've got about 35 243 cases that have needed sized and loaded with 60 gr Sierras since May, and about the same amount of 30-30's that need the same treatment (with 150gr RN's) that have sat about the same length of time. Also about 200 38 special cases that need to be filled for plinkers, and another hundred or so for "rifle" loads. Oh, and I need to work up some more brass for 243 deer hunting loads and then put some 85gr bullets in them, preferably before deer season. Add to that my latest acquisition of 380acp dies, brass, and bullets, and I've enough work to last way into the winter. Then I need to clean the whole area up at some point; its a mess of brass, bullets, guns that need parts, parts guns, and parts of guns. The farm has kept me pretty busy through the spring and summer however, so I doubt I'll even get to start on loading anything until at least October. Then again, it's been pretty darn hot lately and I've been staying indoors more so maybe I could get to a couple of the smaller things before hay cutting starts back up.

That @GeoDudeFlorida is a peach of a guy. He’s a brassanthropist.

4 boxes (50) of .45acp sized and primed. Got the eggleston 230gr rn and various fast powders , just need to get it done.

I know…I didn’t want to be the old guy at the range with the net but since I’m already the old guy at the range…
I'm the old guy at my local outdoor range. If anyone is foolish enough to ask you about it , tell them it's a butterfly net. I shoot mainly revolvers and lever action outside so don't need a net so much.
