The laser engravers are getting ever less expensive.
The Atomstack M4 uses a fiberoptic head, which can be moved to the product, rather than having to get the product inside the x,y frame. Now, right now, that M4 is around $1700, easily twice as much as the entry level engravers.

I think we will begin to see custom engraving be a customization option in the very near future. Now, how the market will treat such things in the secondary & used market will remain to be seen.

Alright …. Bull in the China shop. I’m afraid these toy looking guns will fool little children into thinking it’s a toy and not a real gun.
