Not what I was thinking, I have seen those in my recent searches. I swear this was a stripper clip guide by Burris, made to mount specifically on the Ruger scope mounting system. Maybe it was designed for the Mini-14? I can't find an image to confirm it.

The RGS takes detachable box magazines. Stripper clips are for fixed magazines.
