Bought Primers today $5.50 ~ +\- $0.20 tax

ok… hear me out. Bring your Lee reloading Stool to Vegas, brass, and prime in your hotel room. Ship back to the Great State of Freedom Florida!!!!!!!!!
Very funny. Seriously though, I’d rather attend the classes and build up enough CEU’s to keep my certifications.
Reloading isn’t my life, it’s my hobby.

didn’t know the Facasha was 150 a pack!!! that’s why they were $8-ish bucks
Yeah, that way you get 300 per day for $5.50 per 100, + sales tax, which in Washington state is thievery. I have accumulated over 2 bricks of the Fiocchi small pistol. They work fine in 9mm and the local SW is less than 3 miles from my house. :D

The last time I checked the place in Micanopy they only had small primers and they were $90/K. That’s been over a month now. I will try to get by Saturday and see what they have. I haven’t been to Bass Pro in a year or so - maybe a little less. I can stop by there too just to get some numbers.

My local Sportsman's was all out of the $5.45/100 +tax CCI SPP, but they had plenty of Fiocchi Small Pistol @ $ 8.25/150. Limit two boxes. So, I drove to the second store, which was sorta on my way home and picked up two more, and a pound of HP 38, which I hadn't seen for years. I didn't realize what I bought was 150s! A SUPER BRICK! Four boxes (600) at ~ $37 including tax is waaay less than the classifed commandos are demanding...the lowest I have seen is $80/1000! And you don't even get a kiss!:D

Aren’t the Fiocchi 150 count sleeves? So that’s 5-1/2 cents each assuming you included the tax in the $8.25 price.

Yes, They are the 150s! I just assumed...The boxes from the last store weren't taped, and there were two missing from one, and three from the other. Not enough to return them, tho. I did tape them shut.
That’s why I don’t buy loose sleeves anymore unless I check them at the register. I got two from Bass Pro a couple of years ago and they were missing a few each so I asked for full sleeves. The kid at the register had to call for a manager.
I have lost them from rough handling before and it’s maddening but such is life.

What are you loading them into?
.357 brass, sparking HP 38 or Unique under a Federal HST 130...the one that looks mlike a Wadcutter, but isn't...or Speer 135 Gr. Gold Dot, looking for ~850-900 fps from a 4" barrel, so I don't exceed the design limits of the bullets....but, the same Speer 135 gr is used in both .38 and 357 Magnum ammunition. Now looking for any reliable loads for HP 38 with especially the Federal HST 130 gr. It's kinda scarce.

I’ve loaded the Speer 135gr SB’s over everything from Accurate Nitro 100 to Alliant 2400 in both .38Spl and .357Mag and the two winners were No.5 and Unique in .38Spl and I went with the 158gr Gold Dot in .357. Red Dot and W231 get honorable mentions but I didn’t try Winchester WAP (a.k.a. Ramshot Silhouette) or any of the VV powders. Big surprise: Ramshot True Blue did poorly with that bullet in all of my .38’s. You should be able to find a good load for that bullet pretty easily with HP38/W231.

I've found Fiocchi primers to be probably the best of the oversees primers. I think you will be very happy with them.

Hang in there! primers prices are coming DOWN!

I bought 2 packs! YEP just 2 packs for a project. Nothing more! waiting till they go back down to $3.50 a pack

Just picked up a few hundred at CAL Ranch for about $5.99 a hundred. Problem is they still have restrictions because they are the ONLY supplier of reloading supplies for about 50 miles in every direction. So, 1 per customer - I drag the wife and Da Boy down with me and get 300. :)
