To me, yes. But I understand if it's not to others. For me I went from a fullsize Aimpoint to a Micro(this was on another gun), and the weight savings was almost identical to the weight of the BFG Redimag. I thought it too much of a coincidence to pass up, so I bought a second one to put on the rifle pictured.
