You know, I have come to realize why these weapons have bans on them now. It's not the evilness. It is the stupidity and lack of knowledge. Looks are SOOOO deceiving. Today I was at work and I work with my brother. Well he told one of my co-workers that I had bought a MACHINE GUN! Since when is an SAR-1 any different than any other semi auto gun. A pistol grip, and a large cap. magazine.....you can get both for a savage rifle if you like. When I was told I owned a machine gun I was literally offended. What really upset me is I explained the rifle completely to my brother, and it was like none of it registered in his head. Sorry......just venting.

Ringer, nice SAR. I am a huge fan of laminate-wish they offered it when I bought my SARs(sounds like a disease, don't it?).

And 7.62X51's rifle is probably my all time favorite I have seen on the 'net. It has inspired me to save my "milk money" for a future call to AK-USA.

Because a black rifle sticks out like a sore thumb in ANY environment, especially when seen through night vision. The camo breaks up the outline of the rifle. Not to mention, there are LOTS of trees, bushes, etc. around my parts.
