Looking to add another gun or two to my inventory. These gun(s) will be used to make leather pocket holsters that I have been selling for the last two years.

My current inventory is: Sig P238, Ruger LCP, Kahr PM/MK9&40, Kel-tec P32, P3at and PF9, Beretta Tomcat, Glock 26, Bersa Thunder .380(may be dropped), S&W J-frame, Ruger LCR, NAA Pug, NAA Mini .22mag.

So what guns do you think I should add?

I will be adding the Kahr P380, so I have not added it to the poll. Actually I have holsters in inventory for the P380..

I went with the seecamp becuase I think (if I'm not mistaken) it'll also fit the NAA Guardian series so you'd get double use from it.

oops, just realized you already had Kel-tec, I got to hold a Mini desert eagle for the first time the other day, pretty cool, but I would go with a Walther PPK or P22, kinda of pocket guns, depends how big ur pocket is

The one you get calls for and don't already have.

Usually it's the odd ball stuff that people go out of their way to ask about.

I guess I should have asked: "What's the pocket gun of 2010?"

Ruger or Kel Tec .380 when you can only carry something real small with Hornady XTP's. A hammerless J-frame with 135gr. Gold Dots or the 110gr. Cor Bon with the Barnes bullets when you can goa bit bigger. JMHO.

Did you actually read the OP? He was asking for suggestions for guns to add to his inventory of holsters that he makes. He was not asking for CCW suggestions.

Id say the Seacamp and the taurus as they probably have a bit of a market. I dont know anyone with the Rorbaugh as its pretty darn expensive.

The gun has to pay for itself for me to buy it. Since its introduction, I received TWO calls on the Glock 39, both of which were idle inquiries. I didn't buy one and it hasn't hurt me one bit.

Of the choices listed, I'd predict the Taurus would be a good seller, but I'd wait until I got a call or two THEN go buy one.

Exactly.

I'm looking for the next big thing in pocket guns.

'08 was the Ruger LCP and I have sold a ton of those holsters.

'09 has been the Sig P238, and again a lot of holsters sold.

'10 ??????? Obviously the goal is to sell holster and pay for the gun.

You must have just read your new copy of American Rifleman. I just did, and it was the first I'd heard of the TCP. I'm very intrigued (though I own two .380 pistols already, and am unlikely to get another). Think it's gonna be a seller..

Diamondback .380, which American Rifleman apparently hasn't heard of.

current pocket pistols: KT P32 P3AT, Sig P238, Colt Mustang Pocketlite, Colt Govt 380, Astra Cub (2), FI Model D, 5 Llama .380s, 2 Star SS 380s, NAA Black Widow and 2 MiniMasters, Ruger LCP.

The new Walther PK380 may be worth taking a look at. It's a might large for what you have in mind, perhaps, but it's going to be a popular seller from the looks of things, if early returns continue their present trend.

What PP to buy next

I'd say you have all the pocket pistols anyone could could possibly want but then I saw that there are no Colts in your list. So you must get busy and get one each of all the many variations of the Colt .380s and a Colt Pocket Nine(if you can find one).

Kahr P380. Best trigger of any of the pockets. No safety (shouldn't be one on a pocket gun :scrutiny:), real sights, locks back after last round, quality made, same manual of arms if you're running one of it's brothers like the P9, K9, or MK9 which is a good idea. Same manual of arms as a DAO revolver. Avoids SA trigger for SD which I think is a good idea unless ALL you shoot are 1911's.

Checked out a Diamondback and have to say i'm impressed.

I'm really seriously thinking about going back and picking one up.
