I think you should have a competent gunsmith check it out before firing. It would suck to be less $600 and several fingers as well....groups be-damned.Bought from individual from online ftf. I should ve checked it out thoroughly but it was 830 and he had to buy stuff at bestbuy...
I asked him if it shot ok and accurate, his answer was yes and I took his word for it. I don't care if the slide fit to frame is off. I'd be happy if it shot decent groups
I am certain I am going to end up looking like an idiot asking this, but how in the world did you know that was a Colt frame? Like, I don't see any markings or anything, and I admit my gun knowledge is such that I can't recognize frames of 1911's on sight...
