Hello fellow friends!

I'm pretty new to the site, but we all have to start somewhere :p I'm currently living in Bellevue, just moved here from Orting due to work. I've never been a big city person, but desperate times call for desperate measures :x Anyway, I haven't had a chance to indulge in my gun habits as I had to sell a lot of my collection to pay for some bills :( I'm trying to get back in touch with my gun needs however I'm new to the area and wanted to get some input on gun store locations in the area? If anyone lives close by I would love your opinion!! :) Thanks Everyone.

Howdy Howdy!

I am also new to the site, I'd love to help ya out ;) I'm living in Seattle and have been to the gun shops in the area. My recommendation would strongly be Survival Arms in Bellevue. They've been open for about 6-7 years now and I know the owner Jason very well. They just launched a website to go along with the store http://www.lowpriceguns.com and I have yet to find better deals anywhere. If you're in the area I would definitely suggest giving them a shot.

I'm new to the forum as well; I've lived in the area about 10 years and have been in the process of picking my gun hobby back up over the last year now that my kids are getting a bit older. I've only sampled a few shops in the area, but the clear winner for me is Survival Arms. It's not much of a store front per se, but they are an excellent FFL and their recent e-commerce site is extremely competitive. As far as reloading supplies, I just order off the internet.

I live in Issaquah. West coast armory is right near by. They are great with advice and very friendly. I should go check out survival arms, had not heard of them before.

Also in Tacoma is The Marksman - one of the few ranges in the area that I know of where you can rent handguns.

I shoot at Sam's in Everett, I shop at the store in there, Butch's Guns over by Greenlake and at adventure Sports in Lynnwood. I avoid Wade's and Lynnwood Guns like the plague. Sounds like I need to take a trip down to check out Survival Arms and the Marksman.

Wow! Didn't think my post would attract so much attention, thanks for everyones input :) I've been checking up on all the sites / stores listed and you guys are really helpin me out. If anyone else has a store that hasn't been listed I would love to know it. Thanks again

It look like this is turning into a listing of all gun stores.

If you want the most bang for your buck, there isn't a better store with lower prices, knowledgeable staff, and excellent selection than Mary's Pistols in Tacoma. That includes the Outdoor Rec on Ft. Lewis. If you want to save yourself a lot of money, time, and frustration, go to Mary's.

If you are looking for a "store" I can suggest DJ's in Bothell (almost next door to the Post Office on Beardsley). DJ's has a fair selection of used guns. I assume you already know about Washington Arms Collectors. We have a big show every month in Puyallup and a smaller one in Monroe.

I'll add a recommendation to West Coast Armory, they are the friendliest and most helpful shops I've been to in the Seattle area. They have a place in Issaquah (just off Gilman) which is near me, and in Bellevue (near Factoria). The Bellevue location has a state-of-the-art range too. The Bellevue place is on that little access road down towards the transfer station and just a block towards I-90 from where the old WSI was.

Survival Arms (Low Price Guns) comes in second for me. Pretty decent guy, very good prices. Not much in stock but can order quickly.

I wouldn't give Wades my business under any scenario. Worst retail sales atmosphere, to put it as politely as I can, I've ever experienced. If you remember them in the old days before their new big store, they are nothing like that. Now, think used car dealership.

You might take a pleasant drive north to Kesselrings, between Burlington and Bellingham.
Then go have lunch in Anacortes.

+1 on Kesselrings in Alger. It is a really good gunshop and worth the drive.

It is on the old highway 99. You can take I5 up to the Upper Skagit Indian Casino (Bow Hill Road exit), then go east about 1 mile, then north on old 99 about 3 or 4 miles. It's on the west side of the old highway.
