Someone repainted the nice wood and blueing and the entire gun decently but not nicely. How much ? It's a old one 2 and 3/4 no choke

My top number would be $175 as I can get a gun in similar condition with the original bluing (worn and brown in spots) and some wood dings for $200 OTD at my local shop. Now that I got my 20-gauge 870 Express paid off, I am going to put the 12-gauge on layaway. Never can have enough good 870s.

Ain't it true...

I'd agree with $150-200 if the gun is in good mechanical condition. There are plenty enough 870s out there not to bother with a high-priced fudge job.

Like has been mentioned earlier in this post, let it go and get one you'll be proud of showing off! If you're like me, you'll be pi**ed off the whole time you're cleaning it up, no need, there are plenty out there, keep looking.

Keep looking buddy. There is a 870 in about 90 percent of all gun shops around. lol or at least around here. I wouldn't offer much. You can surely find better.

I found a birch? stocked 870 parkerized reciever Wingmaster with rifle sight slug barrel for $125 before n.i.c.s. check and tax local gun shop (police trade?) bought on the spot

IMO the bottom line for any Wingmaster is $150. This one sounds like it's walkin' on the bottom line. If your looking to "restore" it back to it's original look, then be patient and pick one up for $200 to $300 elsewhere. If you plan on using it as a truck gun and don't mind the paint, pick it up cheap and make some noise. Any paint that gets in the way of moving parts will wear away quickly with some use.

Called my local dealer and he put the bargain 12-gauge Wingmaster behind the counter for me. This one is built around an 2-3/4-inch receiver, has 28-inch barrel, and has my favorite constriction, Modified.
