Surprised me today.

Shot the new LC9 for the first time.

cliffs:

VERY accurate for a mouse gun

Trigger is no problem...long, yes...but not a problem at all

Cycled FMJ and HP's without a hitch

Accidentally released the mag twice...NOT GOOD:mad:

Verdict:
Undetermined yet
Might add a CT laser and keep it unless I can't solve the mag release problem

first 7 rounds with the new LC9:)

I was thinking about a Taurus SLIM (9MM or maybe the 40) until the Ruger came along. I'll have to shoot both. I read somewhere that the new Kel-Tec 9MM (PT-9?) was a nice gun too. I've yet to own a polymer weapon and suppose a Ruger version would be more solid than most.

I shoot revolvers, too.;)

Actually, I'd read about this gawdawful trigger on these things and was prepared for the worst.

Look at that target.

That's the first 7 rounds out of the gun.

I didn't find the trigger to be a problem at all.

Didn't "milk it", just smoothly pulled it while showing total devotion to the front sight.:D

that looks plenty accurate for close in defense work, i cant wait to pick mine up on tuesday. as for plastic frames ruger makes one of the best ones imo, their glass filled poly is super strong stuff and doesnt flex like my kel tec.

I've had mine for several months now and it has been perfect right out of the box. I'm guessing 3-400 rounds through it now without any issues at all.

Accidentally released the mag twice...NOT GOOD
Is it your finger or thumb placement on the grip? Or does the mag release at the slightest touch of the button? If it does, the tension needs to be increased as it might be jarring loose simply from the recoil.

I have one of these, too...only around 200 rounds through it so far, but very easy to shoot, trigger is not bad at all and seems to get better with use. Lightweight, thin, easy to carry...will probably be my (almost) full time carry after November 1st when our CCW law takes effect. (I have my Springfield loaded Champion and Sig P239 .357 to work in there, too...not to mention my M&P's...)
